Force-Free Training

At Great Scott Dog Training in Florida, we base our dog training methods on positive, force-free methods. We believe that most training goals can be accomplished by using rewards rather than punishment. Our goal is to train you to help your dog clearly understand what is required of him so he can not only function but excel in living in our human world. No one wants a dog that barks incessantly, drags you down the road, charges out the door and jumps all over your visitors. We will give you the training tools to achieve your goals.

Basic Obedience Class

You must be registered by the last Friday BEFORE class.

Starting Date: Tuesday Nights

Time: 7:15 pm - 8:15pm

Cost: $110 for six weeks

Basic obedience skills will be taught. Dogs must be current on their vaccinations. Dogs under the age of one have the opportunity to earn their AKC STAR Puppy certificate. (All six weeks attendance required.) Bring a 6 ft. leash (no retractable leashes) and a blanket or towel for your dog to settle on. Bring lots of yummy treats. NO PINCH or CHOKE COLLARS. Reasonable footwear (no high heels or flip-flops).

Advanced Obedience Class

This class is specifically for dogs and handlers who want to sharpen their obedience skills and earn their AKC Canine Good Citizen for Community Canine. We will have practice sessions for five weeks and a testing in the sixth week. Bring a 6 ft. leash (no retractable leashes) and a blanket or towel for your dog to settle on. Bring lots of yummy treats.

NO PINCH or CHOKE COLLARS.
